Donated labor guidelines:
Youth labor is appreciated please continue to have your organization donate labor to the orchard, please follow the following guidelines:
1) Anyone not feeling well should self isolate and limit contact with others. Do not come to the orchard.
2) Social distancing should be maintained in the orchard at ALL times. Do not gather together and maintain 6 feet from anyone not in your immediate family. Face masks are a personal decision and recommended by the CDC.
3) Upon arrival, self check in will be provided. Please have your members sign in.
4) www.stakefarm.com is your main source for scheduling, information updates and training.
Thinning assignments:
1) Thinning will begin on June 1st. We would like to be finished with thinning by Saturday June 13th. As always at the top of http://www.stakefarm.com is the latest most relevant information. Check the site before you arrive please.
2) Appropriate thinning standards is to leave a gap between peaches from the tip of your thumb to the tip of your out stretched pinky finger (Hawaii style hang loose sign)
3) Please have your organizations remind and train on the thinning standard.
We hope all who come to serve will do so safely and feel the spirit of serving in the Lord's orchard. We have heard countless stories, from people working in the Orchard, of how their burdens have been lifted. Let's continue to reach out and serve and feel the blessings of serving the Lord.
