Shed Duty Requires:  3 check in people, 2 parkers, 3 tractor drivers, 1 bin tractor driver, 2 fork lift drivers, 2 bin weight checkers, 9 bin levelers and truck loaders.  A minimum of 22 are needed.

New:  We may need one trailer driver from each Stake who will do driving each day of harvest.

Pickers:  Pickers can come at any time on picking day, as long as they check in with us, so we know they are there, so no fruit sits in the sun.

Youth in the Orchard

            All Ward and Stake Youth organizations are encouraged to contact Bruce (801-547-4210) to set up a time to do special service projects on the farm.

            Youth are also encouraged to come and help thin and harvest fruit with their families or one on one adult supervision.

New Orchard Development

Each Stake will get an opportunity to put in at least one service day or evening on the farm for the development of the new orchard.  This assignment will come to you as they are needed.  We also may call on your Wards to do youth service days or evenings on the farm.

Gleaning

Brethren, 

The orchard will be open for gleaning tonight 9/21/11 from 4:30 to dark and 9/22/11 from 4:30 to dark.

No Picking September 19, 2011

There will be no picking on Monday September 19, 2011.  We will need a good group from the North Ogden East Stake on Tuesday September 20, 2011 to finish the top of the orchard.

Picking Canceled Sept 13th - 15th 2011

Brethren, Picking has been canceled Thursday September 13th, Wednesday September 14th and Thursday September 15th 2011. We very much appreciate all of your efforts.

Special Picking for All Stakes Monday 9/12/11

There will be a special picking assignment in the orchard Monday September 12, 2011. The gate will be open at 7:a.m. All stakes and wards are invited to help with this special picking assignment so that we are able to get needed peaches off the trees. We appreciate all that you do.

**Change to Harvest Schedule**

Brethren,

Please note there has been a change to the harvest schedule.
Harvest has been canceled today August 31st 2011 and tomorrow Thursday September 1st 2011. We would like to invite all of those wards and stakes who have had assignments canceled out for a large picking assignment this Saturday the 3rd of September.
